Amy Zarb
Mother * Consultant * Business Owner
With a 15-year career in the Queensland Police Service, Amy brings a strong foundation of safety, reliability, and compassion to her work with families, children, and seniors. Her policing experience strengthened her ability to support people through stress, communicate calmly, and navigate complex family and community dynamics with professionalism and empathy. She is a parent to three neurodiverse children — aged between 12 and 21, with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Dyslexia — and a step-parent to two additional children with ADHD and Dyslexia.
Her lived experience supporting diverse needs across different stages of development has shaped her approach to be patient, strengths-based, and grounded in the real, everyday challenges families face.
For the past two years, she has worked in the fitness industry, including supporting seniors at Above & Beyond Fitness Hub. Through assisting and leading seniors fitness classes, she has developed a strong passion for helping older adults feel safe, capable, and confident as they age. She is committed to empowering seniors to maintain mobility, independence, strength, and a continued sense of purpose.
She also brings practical, hands-on skills that make day-to-day life easier for families. She is experienced in home organisation, decluttering, general cleaning, and assisting with garden tidy-ups and basic maintenance — helping create calmer, more manageable home environments, especially for households with additional needs. She believes people of all ages deserve accessible, flexible, and understanding support. With a unique mix of professional background, personal insight, and practical capability, she works to make everyday life safer, easier, and more empowering for children, families, and seniors.
