Rebecca Plummer
Client Experience, Mental Health Clinician
Rebecca was one of Steady Nest's very first clients with twins — a first-time mum whose family live overseas, feeling isolated once her partner returned to work.
βIn her own words, Steady Nest helped her rebuild confidence and independence, provided babysitting so she and her partner could enjoy date nights, and brought calm, practical help to the everyday routines with two babies
Professionally, Rebecca is a Mental Health Clinical Nurse with over eight years of experience across acute inpatient, community, youth, and private mental health settings in both Australia and the United Kingdom. She's deeply committed to recovery-focused, trauma-informed, person-centred care, with particular depth in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and DBT-informed therapeutic approaches.
Her clinical experience spans adults, young people, and families navigating some of life's hardest moments — from acute crisis presentations through to longer-term recovery and life-skills support. She's spent much of her career in fast-moving, high-stakes environments, and brings that same steady, compassionate presence to her role advising Steady Nest.
Rebecca has also helped establish a new community mental health service from the ground up, and has experience supporting patients through specialised treatment pathways and multidisciplinary care coordination.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mental Health Nursing.
