Casey is a passionate education professional currently completing her fourth year of a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood and Primary.

She brings genuine classroom and childcare expertise to Steady Nest's before and after school care families.

Casey has built a strong, varied background across early childhood and primary settings — including as a Lead Educator in early learning centres, where she planned play-based learning, supported children's emotional regulation and social skills, and worked closely with families on each child's individual development.

She also has direct before and after school care experience, having supervised groups of up to fifteen children, prepared meals, and led age-appropriate games, activities, and crafts, including for children with additional needs. Most recently, she's worked as a School Officer supporting classroom learning, small group and individual support, and student supervision during activities and transitions.

That combination of early childhood training and hands-on primary school experience means Casey brings real insight into how children learn, grow, and unwind after a long school day — and a genuine ability to create a safe, engaging, and calm environment for the after-school hours when kids need it most.

Casey is warm, organised, and self-motivated, with a natural ability to connect with children of all ages and adapt activities to suit their individual needs and interests.
