New Parent's story

"Natalie has been invaluable to our first few weeks as first-time parents. She not only assisted us in managing a colicky baby but also helped us remain composed during challenging times. Natalie consistently goes above and beyond to provide support and bring calm when it is most needed. I highly recommend her to anyone and am deeply grateful for her time and care with us and our baby."

Corporate Mum's story visiting Brisbane

"Nat was absolutely amazing. I travelled to Brisbane with my kids for work and she took care of them while I was working during the day. I felt at ease every day, my kids were so happy and content in her care. I was so lucky to find her and would highly recommend her."

Migrant Parents Story

Moving our family [from South Africa] to New Zealand in 2023 was one of the biggest challenges we’ve ever faced. As immigrants, we had no family or friends here, no idea how things worked, and the loneliness was overwhelming especially with three young kids relying on us. Both my husband and I worked full-time, often with early shifts starting at 7am, and we desperately needed someone trustworthy to help with before and after school care, close to home.

I’ll never forget the day I posted in our local community Facebook group, hoping for a miracle and that’s exactly what we found in Natalie. From the very first day, our kids absolutely adored her. I had worried they might struggle with the adjustment, but they were excited to see her every single day, without fail. Natalie has a rare gift with children they’re naturally drawn to her warmth, her patience, and the way she makes them feel truly loved. She didn’t just babysit; she treated our kids like family, and her husband and children did too. They welcomed us with open arms, giving us the kind of support that goes far beyond childcare.

Natalie is incredibly creative, always coming up with fun, engaging activities that kept our kids excited and curious. She didn’t just watch them she nurtured them. Even now, after Natalie and her family have moved to Australia - our kids still talk about her constantly. They remember her kindness, the laughter they shared, and how safe and happy she made them feel. When she left, it was heartbreaking for all of us but we were also so proud of her for starting her next adventure.

To anyone considering Natalie’s childcare services: don’t hesitate. She won’t just be a babysitter , she’ll become like family, a home away from home. For immigrants like us, that kind of trust and love is priceless. Natalie was our blessing during one of the hardest transitions of our lives, and we’ll always be grateful for her. If you’re lucky enough to have her care for your children, you’ll understand exactly what I mean.

Foster Parents Story

I have known Natalie (first on a professional basis), since approximately 2008 when she was an in-home child carer and she looked after our little boy whilst I returned to work. Natalie was an amazing carer – she was fully invested in getting to know each child in her care, and really helping them develop, learn, have an amazing and positive time away from home, and to become aware of their surroundings – learning that life was so much more than just about them. Our lad was always very happy to spend time with Natalie, and picking him up was sometimes a bit of a drama because he wouldn’t want to leave!  Natalie has since become a valued friend and advisor in all things “life”. Natalie has so much experience in many areas and is a competent business woman who always gives 100% to anything she does. Natalie is genuine, calm, determined, skilled, passionate, loyal, professional, discreet, caring, insightful, loving, firm but fair, and so many other qualities that a good human should be.

As first time foster parents to a health compromised child, we had a lot of clinical support, but not very much family/emotional support, as we are a very small family. Raising and caring for children takes a village, and if you don’t have one, dealing with life’s wonderful challenges on a daily basis can easily become overwhelming, and if the child has special needs, is health compromised or has complex needs, having a calm and reliable high level family support service is invaluable. Even though Natalie is one person, believe me – she IS a village!

You can trust Natalie to be your support person when you need a break – everyone needs a break but not everyone has access to reliable child care on a higher level than perhaps the teenager next door. You will not be disappointed and will likely be grateful to have Natalie in your life, just like me and many others.

Parent's story

"Natalie was a home based educator for our son Connor for 18 months when we lived in Auckland. My wife and I cannot speak highly enough of the care and skill that Natalie evidenced with Connor. She still remains in touch and remains a close friend. I am able to be contacted if anyone needs a reference."
