​She currently works as a Senior Organisational Development Specialist within the vocational education sector, giving her a practical, current understanding of how structured training providers operate day to day — something that will be genuinely useful as NB Junction works toward Employer-led status and Cert III/Diploma placement partnerships.

 

Earlier in her career, as a Product Lead at one of New Zealand's largest tertiary education providers, she helped design and register new vocational qualifications across a range of industries, and worked closely with an employer to build a brand-new apprenticeship program from the ground up.

 

As a Senior Learning and Development Consultant earlier still, she designed onboarding programs to help new employees settle in and feel supported, and built experience navigating structured, regulated training environments — useful background for the compliance side of nursing and midwifery placements. Ronel has a knack for picking up the fundamentals of an unfamiliar industry quickly, which is part of why she's a good fit to help think through a training pathway for the sports side of after school care too.

 

Ronel is currently completing a Master's in Business Psychology, alongside earlier study in psychology and strategic management.
